“I’ve watched as residents have become increasingly engaged with the township over the past couple of years. As a leader, I believe being granted the public’s trust is a privilege, and the process of governance must be inclusive and transparent, so I welcome having an open dialogue with the community. As a political outsider I will insure that my party expands our membership and is open to change, and I want to be that change.”

“Joe and I look forward to meeting residents and families and hearing their concerns. We are committed to maintaining the longstanding traditions of fiscal conservatism and low taxes, while being open to change that will benefit our community."

Esposito offers 'a fresh approach' in Bernards Township

EDITOR: I would like to encourage voters in Bernards Township to elect a new voice to our Township Committee, Joe Esposito.

He is our neighbor and a longtime resident of Bernards Township. My husband and I have been impressed with his leadership and passion for doing the right thing.
Esposito is an independent voice, motivated only by a desire to serve the residents of Bernards Township. He stepped up to the plate when the ill-advised quarry plan development was proposed. His actions, professionalism and drive contributed to the successful outcome in this instance.

As a new member to the Township Committee, he would bring a new and valuable perspective to the governance of our town. He is not afraid to speak his mind but he also values the opinions of others.
He is the type of person who will listen, assess and act. Bernards Township would be fortunate to have this dynamic leader looking out for our interests.
It’s time for a fresh approach and a new mindset.
I urge voters to vote for Joe Esposito.

lawsuit Looks to Strike Down Law Requiring Students Attend Schools in their own Communities

Please turn your focus towards Trenton and the potentially devastating private settlement negotiations that Governor Murphy is willing to engage in that may deny your right as a Bernards Township resident to have your child attend school in Bernards Township. Even if you do not have children in the school system, if the State mandates that students from Bernards be bused out of district, your property values will suffer! Please take a moment to read the article at the link below.
Joe and John believe that families should be able to keep their children in their hometown schools, while supporting a statewide effort to provide a quality education to every child. We need common sense solutions to school choice, not one that will bus our kids out of district. Get involved. Stay informed.
